These are a simple way to add an awesome level of cinematic realism to your gaming miniatures or diorama projects, use them to add weapons effects, as small-scale rocket thrusters or anything else you can imagine.
Medium Muzzle Flashes are approx 7.5mm long, and are ideal for larger infantry weaponry such as those from our Exo-Lords range, or for smaller support weapons in infantry units.
Painting Guide
For explosive weapons, start by painting the Flash pure white, then add several stages (using either drybrushing or careful layering) of colour moving from very light yellow to orange. At every stage, paint a smaller area of the Flash, focusing more toward the back and outer sections.
For energy weapons you can try reversing it, starting with a chosen base colour (Blue, red, green etc) and add layers of the colour mixed with increasing amounts of white, ending with pure white. At each stage, paint a smaller area, focusing on the raised areas and the front end of the flash.
This product is not a toy and is unsuitable for under 14's. They are supplied unpainted, and will require some preparation and assembly with super glue.
We recommend testing the poses and assembly of each miniature in the set before glueing in place. Some components can be left unglued, be magnetised or held in place with Blu-Tac or similar to allow weapon changes.
