Instagram's Krieghobby is back with another guest post - this time, his take on our Daughters of the Burning Rose War Engine!

A big thanks to the Anvil team for letting me get to grips with this excellent kit!

First things first, wash, clean and sort the bits! As you can see, the frame uses a lot of ball joints! A personal favourite of mine, as they allow for such a great range of movement to determine the pose you want to achieve. The kit went together sublimely, just using super glue, with the most minor of clipping and sanding.

As for armaments, I went for two circular saw blades for maximum blood letting! You'll find multiple options to choose from when ordering the kit, from other close combat weapons, like chain swords to long range firepower with flamethrowers to suit any desired destruction.

To really make my mark on the model I decided to bore out the cockpit to fit a live pilot handling the controls. The body, arms and head can be found on Anvil's site, among the 100s of other model kits and accessories.

I decided to turn the model into a more chaosified version that could fit into the Blood God's armies. In the vein of blood lust, I wanted to achieve a feeling of erratic momentum, so positioned the model hurtling forwards over a war torn battlefield into the enemy!

The main obstacle was the balancing of the pose, which was a great challenge to overcome, which I hope you can see in the end result!

I would highly recommend this kit to any and all hobbysists out there. Let your imagination literally run wild with this model!
